Help wanted..... (reasonable pay...sort of)
 

hi, I have a problem that i just can't figure out. When trying to play dvd games which were ripped on to cd, the game freezes right after the loading screen in game shark fades out. (ex: Batman Vengance, Fifa 2k2, Tony hawk 3, ssx tricky.....) The bin files which i am burning are coming from reputable sources, so i know they should be okay. I've tried burning the games at slower speeds and even with different media. However the same thing always happens. I am totally lost, and have no idea about how to fix this problem. I don't know if it is a hardware problem or a software problem. Any help that anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated. I am willing to try anything.

modchip - neo 2.2
gameshark - 1.6
cd burner - plextor 12/10/32A
CDR win - version 3.8d

What method of booting are you using for the backups?
What settings are you using in CDRwin?

Check both with the following sites

It may be a case of a wrong setting within cdrwin or that you are booting incorrectly, worth having a look.

I am having the same problem when I try to load Tony Hawk 3. I was wondering if it might be a problem with the Gameshark version 1.6. If anyone figured this out please help me. Thanx
