Call of Duty Modern warfare 2 (3xDVD5) *Unicode Version of INNO Setup*

4 Attachment(s)
CI 8.3.5.1_BETA
Base On : yener90 custom installer
Thanks to Yener90 for script "CI 8.3.5.1_BETA"
Thanks to REVO for "Setup.ini" file used in max payne 3

Must be an Unicode Version of INNO Setup

1. Run Setup and install the game (select 'Custom Installation') to 'C:\Program Files\Activision\Modern Warfare 2'.

2. Download the attachment below, extract with winrar, Open the "InstallerScript.iss" file with Unicode Version of INNO Setup, Edit Game's Path according to your game's installed location i.e:

Code:
#define ProgramFiles "C:\Program Files\Activision\Modern Warfare 2"

and press 'compile'.

3. Compression level (Default Selected None), U can set the compression level to lzma2/ultra it takes a lot of time to compile depending on your pc

4. After compile finish, go to "C:\Activision" where new setup is created and make folders: DISK 1, DISK 2, DISK 3. or Download the attachment below

5. Move to folder DISK 1:
Setup.cab; Setup.dll; Setup.exe; Setup.ico; Setup.ini;
Setup1a.bin files
setup-1b
setup-1c

6. to 'DISK 2':
Setup.ico; autorun.ini
setup-2a
setup-2b
Setup-2c

7. to 'DISK 3"
Setup.ico; autorun.ini
Setup-3a
Setup-3b

8. Make iso with label of your choice.

9. Conversion is 3DVDs because of it, i strongly recommend to install game with compiled bin files before burning them to DVDs.

Note:- If you dont prefer 'C:\' as conversion and installation folder make sure that you change all letters from 'C:\' to letter of your choice ('D:\' or 'E:\', etc...) in the script file!

This is my first conversion on Unicode Version of INNO hope u love it, I have removed the details from Setup.dll file & script file to looks like company setup(sorry yener), Conversion is not tested by me so don't mind if i missed out something, Sorry for bad english
:o

Is there a way to solve this problem?
I don't want use revo uninstaller, etc. I want it can be uninstall fron control panel.

I have solved my problem. Delete 2 files of unins000.exe and unins000.dat.
And run the procedure above.. GREAt Job Jackstuff

i went thru my collection & dont have any inno for mw2.. you can use these instructions to make up the dvd's.

1. Create 4 folders: name them as, Disk1 Disk2 Disk3 and Disk4
2. Copy all contents of 2 DVDs to Disk1 folder.
3. Then move or copy following folder and files, DVD contents must be same as below:

Disk1 (Label)

Setup.exe
mw2.ico
Setup-1a.bin
Setup-1b.bin
autorun.inf

*FOR DVD 2, 3 and 4; edit autorun.inf just like below:

Code:

[autorun]
OPEN=0
ICON=MW2.ICO

Disk2 (Label)

Setup.exe
mw2.ico
Setup-1c.bin
Setup-1d.bin
autorun.inf

Disk3 (Label)

Setup.exe
mw2.ico
Setup-1e.bin
Setup-2a.bin
autorun.inf

Disk4 (Label)

( add any nocd to a folder here )
Setup.exe
mw2.ico
Setup-2b.bin
Setup-2c.bin
autorun.inf

Make image with alcohol or burn contents directly to DVD5, enjoy.

DVD1, DVD2, DVD3: 3.14 GB
DVD4: 1.62 GB

NOTE: When popup screen appear about changing disks, you may see 'please install disk1' or 'disk2'. when you see this, insert next DVD. Just change disks: 1,2,3,4, added the no-cd to dvd4 as thats where the install ends.

Call of Duty - Modern Warfare 2 - 10.5GB
Call of Duty - Modern Warfare 2 NO MP - 10.5GB
Call of Duty - Modern Warfare 3 - 7.72GB
Call of Duty - Black Ops - 3.00GB

;) Surely, If I can do that, you can...

As i already mentioned that conversion is not tested by me and Compression level (Default Selected None), U can set the compression level to lzma2/ultra to make it smaller in size
