1) Extract 'Rage_5xDVD5.7z' contents

2) Move from Game's installation folder :

Code:

'directx' folder to 'Rage_5xDVD5\Disk1' folder



'msvc2010' folder to 'Rage_5xDVD5\Disk1' folder

3) Launch FreeArc and then compress all files/folders in the root of game's installation folder except:

Code:

'mp\virtualtextures' folder

'virtualtextures' folder

Code:

Output archive: Data1.bin

Compression: -mx -ld800m

Make exe: Not checked

and then compress the following files in 'mp\virtualtextures' folder:

_vmtr.pages

online_abandoned_terrain.pages

wt_haggar_terrain.pages

Code:

Output archive: Data2.bin

Compression: -m0

Make exe: Not checked

all files in 'mp\virtualtextures' folder except the files already compressed in 'Data2.bin':

Code:

Output archive: Data3.bin

Compression: -m0

Make exe: Not checked

the following files in 'virtualtextures' folder:

authority_base.pages

se_terrain.pages

wasteland1.pages

_vmtr.pages

Code:

Output archive: Data4.bin

Compression: -m0

Make exe: Not checked

the following files in 'virtualtextures' folder:

Data5.bin to 'Rage_5xDVD5\Disk4' folder

Data6.bin to 'Rage_5xDVD5\Disk5' folder

5) Burn or make isos with label names of your choice

is it possible less DVD for only english?

I have the version without "multiplayer" what can i do?

more details then "it have errors' would be helpful then asking someone else for help. Need to know 'what error message" comes up. Before anyone can try to help you.

Everything works very well.. and thank you for the conversion!

But I have a small problem.. during install I had to force close the setup.exe.. so the game isn't installed.. but with your autorun I can't install it.. I have only options: Play, Uninstall,.. Maybe some leftovers in the registry are causing this.. but I can't manually find them.. What should I do?

Remove the following registry entry and then retry:

my disk 1 wont fit in a single DVD !
its 4.4GB in size

data1.bin 2.98GB
data2.bin 1.54GB

any solutions?

*if directx folder was not included, it will fit in single DVD, buat i want to put all the redistributable in the game
