what I was trying to say was this...

nstall the game - Full Installation.
Apply the official The Sims 2: Freetime v1.13.0.161 Patch.
Replace the original SIMS2EP7.EXE file with the one from the File Archive.
Play the Game!

I dont understand how to do this? the instructions are very vague. Thats what I meant to say so sorry for any previous offence caused. I dont set out to upset anybody. xx. just not hugerly computer minded. I have all these games installed by the way. x.

whatever way I try to do something it says no direct x 9 comptiable graphics installed??

THis is the file I was trying to use The Sims 2: Freetime v1.13.0.161 [MULTI16] No-DVD/Fixed EXE

I have an fx5200 card

Install direct x again to make sure
install latest video card drivers
reboot
install sims update patch
go to installation folder of the game
rename the exe
copy cracked exe into folder
run game and cross your fingers

if problems persist run dxdiag to troubleshoot direct x problems
also check if the uncracked exe works, if it does then there is a problem with the crack (try another)

Cowsheep 28-08-2011 06:22

Use windows search function and look for the games executable (check crack if you dont know it).

Then get a computer savvy person from people around you.

Right click the game icon, select properties, it will show the location..
Go to the location in windows explorer. .
