Does MSR need a patch, has anyone ripped and burnt it.
 

Has anyone ripped and burnt this game. I have looked in forums and have not found anyone who has got past intro. I have ripped it and hacked BIN files but it doesn't get past intro.

I don't hv msr to test but u can try,

Method 1) by Mr.talon

Try serach Hex "CDE4 436A" in Orginal Unmodify "bootbin" with a HexWorkshop,

change "CDE4 436A" to "0900 0900"


If still no luck try


Method 2)

Try serach Hex "1032 0D8B" in Orginal Unmodify "bootbin" with a HexWorkshop,

change " 1032 0D8B" to "0800 0D8B "

Notice: This 2 method only works on Katana GameTypes
please report this method works on msr or not,thx

I tried searching for CDE4 436A and 1032 0D8B in 1st_read.bin using HexWorkshop but it says not found. I am ripping the PAL version if that makes a difference.
