Operation Flashpoint red river - games for windows update....
Hi all,
I already used to play red river with : Operation Flashpoint: Red River v1.0 [MULTI5] No-DVD/Fixed EXE... and everything was fine :) Now I bought a Serial for this game to play online and after I checked in games for windows ...the game was updated.... Now when I try to start the game with the above NOCD...I get a error...When I start the game with the original exe..I get a securom error.... and I c'ant play anymore :( Still wait for a new NOCD patch !! Please help  Thanks a lot... mina |
Whats the securom error then? more info helps, we arent all mind readers, and updating and then downgrading the exe probably inst a good idea..
Im guessing you downloaded a "less than legal" version, then bought a serial (cheaply i imagine..or cheaper than the game store price), but the update updated the game, which then made it do the disk check..which wont pass beecause you haven't got the original disk... If the above guess is right, your only option is to contact the publisher and ask for a disk.. i'm not sure if they will help in this case as you technically didnt buy the game.... only a serial.. |
In that context:
Those humbu.. wait, of course i meant hardworking businessmen at gamekeystore.net even graciously provide a Mini Image for DiRT 3: http://www.gamekeystore.net/store/dirt3 Guess what, it's the one from GCW  |

And iirc on the front page of GCW it says something like: Quote:

I think the copyright applies to the page contents but not the downloads as it would be quite strange to reserve the copyright for files that haven't been created by GCW itself (or rather its representatives). And, actually, except for a few cracks, none of the files on GCW belong to GCW (staff) so, by definition, nothing can be stolen from here.
The copyright remains at the authors, as it should be, and he or she should be the one to send a "fuck you" to people/companies expropriating their stuff - but even for publishing their stuff without due credits. But, if it means anything, I also say "fuck you" to them. ;) I think the main problem is that, in theory, anyone could create mini images from games so those "thiefs" could have made one by themselves, too, but they had to use someone else's which is sooo lame and unprofessional... |

But maybe they couldn't create it cause they don't own a single original disc  |
