How to play Stronghold 2 v1.4.1
 

Ok i dont find nothing about how to play with the last version of this game,so i will post how to play whit the last version 1.4.1.
You need the game whit the last version and dont have any crack,if you need update the game,first update to the version 1.4 and then to the v1.4.1.Very important dont have any type of crack or something beacuse you need the original exe.

Then you need the next programs:
Daemons Tools
CureROM 1.3.1
Pr0T St0P
Mini Images.

First install CureROM,and then launch.
In the main screen,push in the OPTIONS.

Then in CureROM Settings.select third party Virtual cd/dvd

and the PATH TO APPLICATION, go to your program files and Daemon tools and select your daemon tool.exe file,or maybe its called DTLite.exe, select that one for path to application.

Press CLOSE and go to the create profile and press next to create a profile.

Now for APPLICATION, browse and go to programfiles/fireflystudios/stronghold 2/stronghold.exe ( meaning where you installed your game, go select its EXE file, where you start the game.)

Press next, and you will see it asks for image mounting softare, change it to daemon tools or alcohol 120 (if you have it installed)

For backup image, select the NEEDS EMULATION.mds FILE which is in your in the folder.

Press NEXT NEXT NEXT AND FINISH.

Go to your hide emulation folder and you will see antisecurom programs.
Use the PR0ST0P and open it, Click hidden and CLOSE IT, REMEMBER to CLOSE IT or game wont start..
SO OPEN PR0ST0P, PRESS HIDDEN AND CLOSE IT.

Now load the STRONGHOLD2 Disc2 1.4.1 from the folder on to your DAEMON TOOLS software like you normally would. and start the game using stronghold 2.exe on desktop,
if error occurs then, close and start using playstronghold2.exe on desktop

Way too much effort...
Simply mounting mini image in latest Daemon Tools is enough...

yes,it´s true, i have and older version of my DT and for that reason i have those things,now i update my DT and now its just mount mini image and work fine!!:)

Cure Rom is that app still up? I thought would be obsolete by now like most of that kind of utilities go

This doesn't work for me. :(((( It says that original disc could not be found or authenticated... I did everything as the tutorial said.

EDIT: Which new version of DAemon Tools should I get for this to work??

Don't use CureROM & Pr0T St0P.
Just the latest DT lite version 4.40.2 and a Mini Image from GCW.
You have to activate 'Advanced emulation' in DT Preferences.

Do *NOT* use protstop..
It's buggy and and has been known to mess up systems, and it is heavily out of date..there are much better alternatives (if you really need them)
