[REQ]Star Trek - Elite Force 2 - CD-to-DVD
 

Is anyone out there that could help me to create a DVD backup of the 2CD version of Star Trek Elite Force 2?

I tried using the CD labels of both, CD 1 and 2, but could not create a working iso file (I always test my backups before recording them on a disc).

I am also well aware of the method of changing the volume lable in the media tab of msi-files. Unfortunately, there is no *.msi in this case so hex-editing is likely needed and it would be nice to know where to start.

Any hints?

is there an autorun.dat file ?

take a look at the properties of the exe thats run ( from autorun.inf ) and see what exe is called. also post a listing of each cd, and upload if any autorun.dat file, etc.

will take a look at it for ya, see if we can figure out how to get it on 1 dvd.

EDIT:

Look thru the cd folders for a *.dbd file, if there it means the installer is a demoshield/installshield
and I know of no way to change it. Easiest way is to just leave them as CD's, no way to combine them into 1 dvd
in their current form.
