DARKSIDERS - (2DVD9 to 3x DVD5)
 

Darksiders (2DVD9 to 3x DVD5) *Multi 5* + *INNO SETUP*
** MUST HAVE I N N O S E T U P v5.3.10 ANSI**

1) Install the game ( Your language of choice, add updates etc, IF you want to. )

2) Extract "Darksiders_3xDVD5_INNO.7z" contents (you need at least ~ 20 gb of free space)

3) Open Darksiders.iss & change the 1st row to:

#define SourcePath "YOURGAMEFOLDERPATH\" ( Quotes & Backslash MUST be there!)

4) Launch compile.bat & wait... (This will compress your installed game AND make the ISO's for you.
It takes plenty of time, so start it & go grab beer / pizza..)


5) Burn or mount ISOs in 'compiled' folder

6) 9.75GB Installed game NOW fits on 3x DVD5, that can be installed/uninstalled anywhere.

This Conversion has been reposted, AFTER a discussion with Joe Forster/STA, REQUESTING of Conversions is NOT ALLOWED , Posting of the Digital Media converions, is being discussed to remove restriction from posting conversions of those type.

Tested on Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Time of installation ~ 10 minutes

Size of Disk1 = 4,33 Gb
Size of Disk2 = 4,33 Gb
Size of Disk3 = 940 Mb

Total size = 9,57 Gb ( Original size release 13,7 Gb )

Does anyone know why this difference?

inno has compressed the files that's why its smaller. look in iss script
Compression=lzma2/fast
