DVDR backups and original neo2 modchip
 

does anyone know if dvdr backups will load using a neo2 modchip (not a 2.2). Thanks in advance.

Presumably nobody knows. Are you in a position to try using the same method as for NEO2.2? hAVE YOU CALLED pLAYSTIONMODS AND ASKED THEM OVER THE TELEPHONE?

Playstationmods doesnt reply to my email and when i call they put me on hold and leave me there. funny because they were quick to take my money when they sold me these chips a few months back, so i guess i will install the chip and find out for myself. Thanks for replying Charlie, i appreciate it!

I dont remember reading that the NEO2 could boot DVDrs, i guess the only way to find out it try the booting method for the 2.2 & 2.5 mod and see what happens.

I know what you mean about playstationmods they arnt to good on replying to emails/phone calls which is why i bought my chipped NEO system from a shop which did.
