Mafia 2 Save/Load is disabled
 

I was playing Mafia 2 and had saved the chapter where I go into the Chinese restaurant with Vito and Joey to kill the Chinese kingpin. I can load the chapter and it will start up and I can play but when I get to a save point it won't save and I get the following messages. I want to be able to SAVE and when I exit the game and start back up I can Continue the Story and it will load automatically from my last Save point. Here are some pics. Any suggestions. Thanks.

same thing happens when you use the original disk and exe?

Did you use some unlocker or load chapter mod?
Mafia 2 never asks for disc, its steamshit ceg protected.:)

I installed game saves from GCW-Mafia II LOAD CHAPTER MOD from tools and a fix.

get rid of mod, play normal!

I was playing around with this and tried a couple things. Changed the videoconfig file settings from 0 0 1920 1080 1 0 0 1 to 0 0 1920 1080 1 0 0 0 and then I loaded my chapter at an earlier save point and it loaded and saved with no problem. Hey thanks guys.
