Don't know if it can be easily done ('cause the exe is protected by Safedisc v2.90.040) but I'd appreciate very much a nocd for this old game. I attached the exe, for those who have time and want to do it :) If you need other files feel free to ask me. thanks bye

Just my curiosity: is it possible to "clean" the original exe in some ways or you always have to use this utility?
Or are there other programs out there to remove protection and create a fixed exe?

Depends. Does this game have the following files: *.icd, dplayerx.dll, drvmgt.dll, secdrv.sys, clcd*.dll? If there are any such files, upload them also.

Sure. Here are the files from the cd root. (not all of them, I took out some very big ones for obvious reasons).

no other files are needed, i tried rebuilding it but it crashed on the 2nd ccc .. will try again later when i find my more up to date tools...

Thats Safedisc 1.x stuff only, this game got v2.90. Only the italic ones are still present in v2 and later on.

Arteam got a SD 4.60 unwrapper with sourcecode, you may adjust that to unpack 2.90, Tippex.

nah, my tool is a bit more indepth, and the method arteam sucks totally..

What debugger do you use?
I got stuck with both Olly and IDA at SYSENTER when debugging SD.
