Daytona Net Battle issue - PLZ HELP
 

Hi everyone. I am having problem getting the daytona net battle to work. I have ripped data from gdrom successfully and hacked the files to make it autoboot. The game now boots up ok and everything else works except for the net battle. I try clickin on it n game just resets. Please help... What do i need to do to make it work? Thanks.

you need the net fixer patch. you also need to find the nfo of the echelon release, as it describes how to get and use a key for playing online

actually, you need to get the net key (option on daytona usa). it will save on vmu. then, on exiting this option, it is common for the game to rebbot, but no need to go back to this since you have the net key. then, after net key is on vmu, you can go to a i-net game with no problem.

Where would i get the net fix patch? Also, this is not a echelon release that i downloaded. I ripped the data off of the gdrom myself using the cable, so should i still need to findthe nfo info from echelon's release? does echelon has a website or something? Thanks.

This key, are you guys referring to the dreamkey you need to dnload to play net battle? if yes, i already have that key. my problem is that i cant get net battle to load, it resets when i click on it. But i think linux box said i should hack all bin files that contain the string "CD001". I hacked 1st_read.bin, maigo.bin, sg_dpldr.bin, and 2_dp.bin. there are lots of bin files for daytona, so maybe i need to hack a few more bin files. But if i use the lba 45000 trick, would i have to hack anything at all? Thanks

the key wasn't his problem linux. the browser .bin wasn't hacked right so it restarted his system when he tried to battle, not when he was selecting his key.... like the japan release of sega gt or other old releases....

oh, just read your post. try hacking pw_browser.dll ....... that might do it

Thanks guys for helping out. I tried hacking *.bin with "CD001" in it and it is still not working rite. Do I need to hack the pw_browser.dll file? IF yes, what do I hack that dll file with? How would I hack it?

How bout if i use 45000 trick n burn 1 session with 45000 lba. Then just binhack.exe ip.bin and 1st_read.bin and burn cd, would this work? Would this make net battle work?

there's no need to patch anything when u use 45000 trick "2nd data.iso start at LBA 45000"

just ipins ,data.iso ip.bin

Note: i can't find my daytona backup in my cd mountain for test yr net problem
