The sound on my toshiba laptop keeps going off

it can be ok for days then goes off can be for 3 4 days then comes back on can be on for a while sometimes a week then off again Ive try ed device manager that tells me the sound is ok HELP

Contact problems (give it some WD-40 or similar) or broken wire (especially at the plugs)?
