Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight (DVD9 to DVD5)
 
Guys, can this game be converted to DVD5? file in DVD only 4.85 GB.

All the videos are located in Data\Movies.
What I've done in the past is move some of them to another dvd and put some dummy files in the first DVD.

Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight DVD9 to 2xDVD5 + Offline CRACK! ENGLISH ONLY

1. Make 2 temp folders Disc1 & Disc2 ( Labels of DVD's as well)

2. Extract from DVD9 to Disc1

3. COPY All folders EXCEPT Data to Disc2

4. MOVE Core_1.cab, Core_5.cab, Core_7.cab, English6.cab to Disc2

5. Copy autorun.inf, CNC4.ico to Disc2

6. Edit Disc2/autorun.inf

Code:

[autorun]
open=0
Icon=CNC4.ico

7. Download archive Extract edited autorun.dat file to Disc1.
The Crack Folder can be put on Disc2 as thats where the Install ends.

8. Follow ReadMe.eng.txt instructions to apply crack. This will allow to play in offline mode, Campaign Only & SaveGames working.

9. Make ISO's test install before burning to DVD's.

Install Sequence DVD1 - DVD2

Disc1 - 3.31GB
Disc2 - 1.80GB

Disc2 - 2.24GB
Test on windowsXP SP3 is Working

You won't get a good ratio packing the videos since it's a VP6 format.
Try to pack a DivX/XviD movie and see the compression ratio.

You have to revert the VP6 format back to AVI, reduce quality using VirtualDub and repacking into VP6.
You may fit the game (one language only) into a DVD5.

It's up to you.

5. From Disc1/Data/Movies folder MOVE xxGTH11NAPO5xx.vp6, SH01.vp6, SH02.vp6, SH03.vp6, SH04.vp6, xSH01x.vp6 to same folder on Disc2.

6. From Disc1/Data/MoviesXML folder MOVE the 2 files to same folder on Disc2. ( FullScreen.xml & TalkingHead.xml )

7. Copy FOLDERS Autorun, Directx, DotNetRedistributale, Support, Windows to Disc2, COPY files autorun.inf and CNC4.ico from Disc1 folder to Disc2 folder and edit Disc2/autorun.inf to:

8. Download cnc4-auturun.rar and Extract / Overwrite in Disc1 folder


9. Burn Disc1 Folder with label "Disc1"

Disc2 - 3.51GB
