Anyone know about Ps2 scph10000 x Sbox ??
 

Hi ! I buy Sbox and Gs2 1.6 for PS2 scph10000 Jap browser 1.0 ,my problem (work fine with Ps1 cds backup jap but not with cds PS2 backups & Imp).Game shark 2 boot cd spin and result black screen ! ! please email me.

I didn't know that the SBox was effective for JAP PS2 - it looks like it isn't and I'm not at all sure you are going to get it to work. In any case you'd need a JAP Gameshark 2 and then probably 1.7 or later. It may be coincidental that PS backups boot OK because they don't depend on GS2.

In case things have changed with SBOX, have you got the single wire correctly soldered in place? That's a must if it is to work at all.

Modchip.com do a good internal modchip (8 wires) for the early Jap PS2s.

Gameshark2 v1.6 should boot PS2 backups for a scph10000 jap console. If you are getting PSX backups to load ok then the install should be correct so try this, load the gameshark2 with the modchip turned off, wait until it completely loads then select, start game, then turn on the modchip, select without codes, then swap disc, do not press x to load game press O+R1... Now depending upon the game, most ea games along with a few others will require a patch to load. You can get the patches from www.eapatcher.com or www.ps2ownz.com. Sometimes it requires a little practice getting them to load with usb mods but hopefully you will be fine...Good luck.
