Master of all games :P Oh dear... it makes me laugh everytime I see that title.

Anyways.

DN 3D was for DOS and did run under Windows 95/98... So to be extra sure you are going to have to try something like VirtualPC (free from microsoft) or DOSbox which is a dos emulator of sorts.

i tried the dosbox of course but it didn't work, check this picture ...

Dunno what your problem is. Get the latest DOSBox, edit the config file to these settings:
Code:

sbtype=sb16
sbbase=220
irq=7
dma=1
hdma=7
sbmixer=true
oplmode=auto
oplemu=default
oplrate=44100

run the game's setup program, select the Sound Blaster with the same settings and there you go playing.

I can't find the config file, and by the way which config file did u mean? duke's or dosbox's config file

DABhand 10-09-2009 16:33

I remember DN3D has its own config file that was run in dos to select sound card etc

But check DOSbox settings to make sure it uses SB emulation. And if needed the above settings Joe mentioned. But set IRQ to 5 ;)

I checked the setup file, but I don't know what to do now, check this picture

Joe Forster/STA 11-09-2009 03:36

I mean edit the config file of DOSBox, of course.

DABhand 11-09-2009 03:53

Mr Fedo change your title mate, because its obvious each time you post it isnt.

If you cant figure out how to set the sound card in that setup.exe menu, then there is no hope lol

TippeX 11-09-2009 07:33

maybe the disaster of games? ;p

Mr.Fedo 11-09-2009 13:03

I have edited the dosbox's config file and I set the irq to 5 not to 7 and it worked, thank u guys very much :) and really maybe i'm the disaster of games :P lol
