C&C: The First Decade Trainer?

I'm having a bit of a problem with finding a trainer that works. I usually play on generals zero hour. I have tried cheats with no results. I've tried trainers on just generals, zero hour, and just the entire game.

Anyone able to help me figure out why nothing seems to work?

Hmm...strange..

Maybe the executable is write protected? Or perhaps the Memory, 'cos trainer writes in the memory.

It is also just possible trainer was written for a cracked exe and not for normal one or vice-versa.

Yea I'm still not able to find a trainer. Ugh..

Yo! What's your version? You should be able to find it on the main menu (or options/settings menu, can't remember exactly which on this game). Make sure that's all matching up with the version stated in the trainer(s).

Also, it's not necessarily the version. It does depend on the 'type' of release, as Blazkowicz stated. If it's a retail or otherwise 'original' running from the disc or a mounted image then the target for the trainer is 'generals.dat' if I remember rightly. However! If it's a cracked version then you may find that the 'generals.dat' doesn't actually contain anything and the target is 'generals.exe' (because the protection has been stripped/unwrapped etc. What I would do, if you haven't already, is to download a no-cd/dvd fix and try the trainers again with those. Most times, trainers are created for the fixed versions and this c&c game is a slightly special case when it comes to targeting the right process for editing in memory.

Cheers.
