Age of Pirates 2: Cheats and Item Duping; still needs ship speed trainer
 

Gah, Age of Pirates 2 NEEDS a ship speed hack (trainer) to make it tolerable to play. It takes hours to travel between islands even with the 2x speed setting. About as fun as watching grass grow.

CHEATING :p
Changing the _mod_on_off file in ...\Age of Pirates 2\program\ you can turn on the developer mode (read that file, you change a setting from "Off" to "On") allows you to press F11 in the game, where you can add skills, $, etc. but you MUST exit the menu by pressing the X in the corner, NOT the <ok> button -- or else you get teleported off to la la land. [also, after using F11, go to the main menu, Options, and click the setting to restore the keyboard defaults]).

ITEM MULTIPLICATION/DUPLICATION :D
+download cheat engine or the latest artmoney.ru (they are free)
+launch it, then launch AoP2
+change AoP2 video setting to 'Windowed' (otherwise alt tabbing crashes the game)
+go to any store or vendor
+find an item THAT THE VENDOR has 3 or more of, and you have 0
+Buy 1 of the items
+alt tab to Cheat Engine, click Process and select the Start.exe (which is the AoP2 executable, then put in 1 under "Value:" change the Scan Type to "Exact Value" then change the Value Type: to "4 Bytes" then click the New Scan button, and once again for First Scan. You should get like ~90 hits
+alt tab back into AoP2, buy a second item so that now you have 2
+alt tab into CE, for Value: type 2, and click the Next Scan button. You should have between three and 5 hits now.
+buy a third item in AoP, search for 3, you should only have one Address. select the address and click that red down arrow button to add it to the memory list.
+now select whatever you want to dupe, alt-tab into CE, for value, enter whatever number you want 5, 50, 500,... once you have changed the value in CE, alt tab back into AoP2, and click the arrow to *SELL* and enter the number. the vendor will have whatever number you sold to him for you to buy back.
:confused: [for example, you have one nice sword, you want a bunch to outfit your crew. you enter 51 into CE for the value, switch back into AoP click the sell arrow (it will say 1, backspace over it and) enter the number 50 (or type -50 to sell). Click ok and the vendor will buy 50 of them even thought you only had one.]
:cool: [also note: works fine as a money cheat too; selling 5000 ingots for $ and trade experience]
:eek: PLEASE NOTE: there is a separate address for the store's goods menu, and another address for the store's menu that has guns and maps and trinkets. --Both work with cheat engine to allow for dupe'ing.

oh i have little problem i play with peter blood and i find he key for the chest with the sword in the beginning but i can't eneter in fight mode i mean the E key down't have any effect

kos-press ESC, go to the main menu, go to options and click the button to reset the keyboard to the defaults. that should fix the E (draw sword) key.

Hey guys if u wanna cheat little more:rolleyes: then download my attachment it lets u start any character class with 200mill gold ,skillz all to 20 and the mother of all ships(420 cannons,uber speed,1000 crew and well lets just say it literaly chews shippies under it with little to none hull dmg xD)

Also everything else is left stock so you can play "semi" properly :D

All u gots to do is replace the program folder in age of pirates 2 directory with the one in the .rar and !bam!

Anyways leme know if there are any probs or complications....enjoy:)

v2 of the program folder has traders with 5000qty of every good! and attributes go upto 100! as well as ship and personal skills accrue faster!

"cheatzor" save game has you with the uber start ship and x4 man'o'war in your fleet with max crew and fully stocked up with ammo food etc for all you truly lazy gamers also no quests done :eek:

This "mod" is awesome man!!!! Can you update it a bit and have crew waste less food and rum also???? Thanks man

Applying the trick by pressing F11 as dev mode press the "installation" button in the bottom right side...Then Tick 'Dont eat & no rats'...then exit the menu by pressing 'X' ofcourse. [But ur Captain's skill will be normal(u will just have the Great KINGS ship,its enough i think).. dont worry,u may raise those skills by F11 too,... so all the best]

I am stuck in a quest in which i am asked to sneak in HAVANA and bring Commandant's wife to Tortuga who is girlfriend of The Governor-General of Tortuga!! I am a privateer of France! The Commandant's house is locked and i couldn't find any cave or way to enter the house!!:confused:

Is there any cheat to complete any Quests whenever we want??
or
Any cheat to go through the walls??(This kind of cheat i used in 'Hard to be God'):o

What happens if i loose my super ship?? For instance i had to sell it and buy a smaller vessel to complete a quest. When i came back to shipyard to re-buy the ship it was gone.

thanks sayem3250 but atm i don't know how to unlock specific doors :D

and as for your problem kefalo84 go to the port controller and b4 you speak to him make yourself a captain of a different ship then you should be able to more the "super ship" there for around 50k gold, because ships sold don't stay available.:)
