STALKER Clear Sky
 

Hi, I am having huge problems with this game, there seem to be 2 issues;

1 - Its too difficult. Fix - use a trainer. Problem - the trainer makes it crash all the time.

2 - Dont want to have to have the disc in. Fix - nodisc patch. Problem - patch makes the game crash too.

The longest I can play using the above items is 30mins approx or until I change to the pistol!

Has anyone got this game to work well with the above (ver 1.5.07) trainer is the 11 cheat one. If so please tell how.

Alternatively does anyone know how to edit it to make it easier I know it can be modded but I don't have any idea how to go about it.

If it's too difficult, train yourself with an older and/or easier game first. ;) As for STALKER itself, Shadow of Chernobyl was very buggy, too. Have you played the game without a crack? I think that will crash, too. So wait for some official patches instead.

By the way, there is a software (Google for it) that can unpack the game archives. Unpack GAMEDATA\CONFIG\CREATURES\actor.ltx and GAMEDATA\CONFIG\system.ltx and hack them to play a bit easier. The comments are in Russian but the variable names speak for themselves. (This is for Shadow of Chernobyl but Clear Sky probably still uses the same files.)
