Need help recovering a game disk

Hello, first off I would like to apologize for breaking forum rules yesterday by asking for an original game file. I do own the original and would gladly post cd pics to back up that claim if needed.
Now to my problem, I have a defective 3rd disk for Warhammer Mark of Chaos. I have tried copying the files to hard drive on 3 seperate systems and always get a cyclic redundancy check error.
I downloaded a file recovery program recommended on this forum but I couldn't get it to find my dvd drive either.
Cleaning the dvd did nothing.
Changing the language settings also was not the problem.
I have contacted tech support repeatedly months ago and have since given up.
Can someone please reccomend a way to recover the data on the disk so I can play the game again? Thanks

it really depends how damaged the disk is... crc error on a disk usually implies scratches or dirt.. try cleaning it..

regardless, it is against the rules to send you any original files.. your only action (if cleaning does not work) is to contact the publisher for a replacment disk

(Wrong forum, moved.)

I've just added tons of links to the end of the PC Games forum FAQ. One is a great howto on fixing scratched disks.

I give up, I tried cleaning the damned disk over a dozen times and even used a disk doctor on it - its dead jim.
Tech support from namco bandai sucks major @$$ they can't be bothered to return emails.
I'll wait till I see another copy in the bargain bin or online somewhere. Untill then its just another 50$ I flushed down the crapper. I was dumb enough to have bought it when it was new.
I have no clue why the stupid thing won't work now I had it installed a year or so ago
