Games always crashing while using a trainer

hello...
my games always crashing to the desktop while trainer is in the background, i can't even start the missons and press a desired option, it dosen't matter which game, everyone crash. i try Devil may cry 4, GTA IV, Fallout 3, and many others they all crash because trainer is in the background, it crashes them to the desktop with a option to send an error report to microsoft... when trainer is not in the background everything works like a charm...

i'm using Windows XP SP3
any helpers? i'm getting really desperate...

1. make sure the trainers are for the exact game version you have (usually trainers are for retail games.. ie: ones you buy in stores... if they work on d2d / steam releases of the game then you're just very lucky

actually, read the faq... most of this stuff is covered in it

you can also try disable your anti virus software.

Hmm.... i don't have any anti-virus software, only Anti-Malware which is really good...

Windows live has a protection that stop memory manipulation from trainers.

Read the .nfo file from a trainer in notepad it may have instructions for you to tell you how.

If I am repeating any of the suggestions, please ignore:-

1) Game version must match with the Trainer version.

2) Must include trainer as exception in Anti-Virus, Firewall, etc programs (First thoroghly check it if it indeed carries a virus - it is recommended you use online services which scan it with multiple scanners - if 70% report it infected - don't use the trainer).

3) Many games come with occupied debug ports (These are normally protected games with Securom, Safedisc, Strarforce, etc)...So apply a game fix to circumvent it...and then use the trainer.

4) Games coming with anti alt+tab, anti-keylogging, anti-window modes generelly crash upon activation of an option. Try to use the trainer as written in the NFO by the author...

You must have heard about XLIVE games, they started coming in late 2007 (Gears of war was the first one I think)...XLIVE is a protection that checks the Game's codes for any irregularites, if there are any - it crashes the game or generates a false alarm. So use trainers for such games only if they are well done, XLIVE wrapper is used...XLIVE is deactivated (Applies only in some games....I have tested it on Fallout 3....just rename Fallout.exe.cat to Fallout.exe.bak or whatever - Remember if you do this on other games, the game won't load/save your savegame - it will/won't play the game)

Sorry if you don't understand me - I am typing very fast...please ask me if you have any further queries...
