call of duty - world at war
 

i installd the game without thr punkbuster.

when i try to play the game, i have to select the level and then the mission.

i do so but the game dont start.

why?

i use the solo mode.

can some1 help me?

It is a bug related to user profiles.

Go to

\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Application Data\Activision\CoDWaW\players\profiles

or

\Users\<user name>\Local Settings\Application Data\Activision\CoDWaW\players\profiles
(for Vista)

Create a text file, type the name of your profile and save it as "active.txt" in "profiles" folder. Also, in "profiles" folder, create a new folder named exactly as your profile name.

E.g. if you want your profile to be called "Lolercoaster", you should have a folder named

\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Application Data\Activision\CoDWaW\players\profiles\Lolercoast er

and a file named

\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Application Data\Activision\CoDWaW\players\profiles\active.txt

which contains the line Lolercoaster in it.
