Drakan Unofficial Patch for Geforce 6/7/8 etc.
 

Good news for everyone who likes Drakan - Order of the Flame, but was not able to play it because of the crash bug at the start of the introductory cutscene. The problem affected graphics adapters of the Geforce 6 and better series and should be completely fixed by an unofficial patch that can be downloaded here: http://www.arokhslair.net/index1.asp

This patch not only fixes the cutscene-bug, but also the infamous Alwarren-problem and is highly recommended for the single player mode of the game - in fact it is designed for single player only, but since the game's online-community is relatively small, it is highly recommended for the game as a whole.

I hope, someone is going to submit the file to GCW in order to make it easier to find. It includes a NoCD-Crack.

I think, it has something to do with it: It's the first version 445 nocd available for this game.

Btw. Prior to installing this unofficial patch, the official 445 patch needs to be installed, otherwise the patching process may fail.
