cod4 problem

my Buddie got the game so we could play at the same time. he doesn't have the same servers as i do. how do i fix this?

Update his game to the latest version.

1. Install game.
2. Update to 1.6
3. Update to 1.7
4. Update Punkbuster (go to evenbalance.com and download pbsetup.exe)
