Wrong author for Stronghold Crusader Extreme maxi image
Hey, I've just saw that MY Maxi-Image of Stronghold Crusader Extreme was posted here at Gamecopyworld by a guy called Nesc@fe (what a weird name)...
He doesn't even made the Maxi-image and even bother to give some credit to who made it....also it's NOT an Mini-image, that shows anyone that he doesn't even realize what the hell it's. So, I'm requesting to GameCopyWorld to remove it...also I recently saw that "poseden" also made an Mini-image, so I will not bother to see my Maxi-Image removed...:p It's just that it's so frustrating to see that some people it's ungrateful... Anyway, just see my torrent at the Pirate Bay to probe that I was the FIRST who made this MAXI-IMAGE...and because of that I deserve some credit!!! That's all....see ya all guys...I'm just requesting justice and credit to who deserves it! nesc@fe probably uploaded it, and didn't claim credit for making it..
if you want credit then put your nick or whatever in an nfo with the image.. as for removing, its a bit petty, and trying to take credit for making mini images is also a bit childish, its hardly rocket science... a trained monkey could do it... so please don't make out its something difficult that requires super skill... because it doesn't.. so kindly pick up your toys and put them back in the pram.. thread closed... |
True, true; how the hell is one supposed to know the author of a package when there's no information provided at all?
|
In the info which was send in together with the file, Nesc@fe claims he is the creator... Why would I doubt this as no info file is available and no-one else uploaded it under a different name
As you TPB link look valid I will change the creator-name to yours Credit where credit is due |
how can bollo prove he made it though? a mini / maxi image is just that, any alteration to the iso format contained within it would cause problems with the protection.. the only thing you can do is to pad the files in the image to be 0 (or any repetitive character) byte filled, which causes the small size...
so there's no real 'concrete' way for someone to prove or disprove they made it, well there might be some way to tag it but its relatively tricky... and i've not seen it done by anyone yet (requires a pretty indepth knowledge of the formats involved)... |
Considering Nescafe, came here looking for a crack because his .iso image of his own stronghold crusaders was hosted on his own site and was trying to give the game away for free.
Now comes the point, if he was so desperate for a crack why did it take him 2 weeks to make a working mini/maxi image? He didnt he stole it, and probably the iso he supposedly made too. |
Yes I agree with Dab on this one, was going to point out exactly the same thing until I read Dab's post.
So it is clear that Nesc@fe didnt create the image but that doesnt prove that Bollo did. So I also agree with TippeX. Not that I am doubting Bollo. ;) |
The filename was renamed from MaxiImage to MiniImige (note the spelling error) and it was uploaded a few hours after Bollo666 seeded the file @ TPB
I know this ain't 100% proof but it lean more to Bollo666 than to Nesc@fe to create the image Call it a gut instinct ;) |
