Empire at War, Help Needed
 

I have cracked Empire at War off of a MDS/MDF file and run it with daemon tools. Once i load the game it starts to run, gets to the first title and then closes. Is there some way to fix this? Ive tried Hiding my emulation with prot stop and some other programs but i don't think that is the problem.

Does it run without a crack? (Also, what exactly does "cracking a game off of an Alcohol CD/DVD image" mean?) If it doesn't, see the PC Games forum FAQ for general gaming solutions.

The game does not run without the crack but the PC games forum FAQ does not have the answer to my question. The game will start up but once it gets to the title screen, not the menu, the game crashes. I have copied the crack over and replaced the original .exe file. Does anyone know why the game could be crashing?

If the game doesn't run without a crack either then the problem is obviously not crack-related. In that case - as the PC Games forum FAQ suggests; have you actually read the entry dedicated to this? -, you should upgrade all drivers and updates and refer to the official game support.

Also, now you're mixing two things: 1) running the game from a DVD image; 2) running the game with a no-DVD patch. Have you tried neither, that is, running the game with the original DVD?
