read the faq, read the nfo/txt usually that comes with the trainer...
usually boils down to...
1. run game
2. alt-tab
3. run trainer
4. go back to game
5. press trainer hot keys to activate trainer...

Does anyone know if the BReWErs trainers work with Vista? I've tried 5 or 6 different combinations of opening the trainer and game and none are working. While the .nfo is helpful for telling me what hotkeys do what, it also says that I need to hit the 'info' button to configure anything, and the version I downloaded doesnt have one.

I tracked down the trainer from 4 different sites, and had the same issue with all of them. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd much appreciate it.

Currently trying to get the trainer "Basilisk Games Eschalon Book I v1.04 PLUS 7 TRAINER" to work with the 1.04 version of the game.

Thanks!

some trainers require the program to be run in admin mode - in vista right click it, and select 'run as administrator'.. allowing the uac prompt if it happens...

I'd already tried that with both the trainer and game, just trainer, just game...It seems to recognize the trainer somewhat, since the hotkeys overlap a bit, and when running both trainer and game, the quicksave hotkey doesnt work, but other than that, no change.
