Empire Earth III Command Line Switches
 

Does anyone have a resource for the command line switches for Empire Earth III??

There was an option to disable all of the glurge during startup. Instead, it took you directly to the main menu. That's really the only one I'm interested in at the time, although some of the others might be handy to have!! :)

Have you tried making the program itself display its own command line switches, with a command switch like /?, /h, /help, -?, -h, -help or --help?

I've been trying to dig up the old EEII switches, and now I can't find those either!! :(

I don't understand well but you mean for the commands you want to use do you mean the game console ? like the you insert the cheats in or other things ?

i don't have the game go I am not sure about this but several games to enable the console the key is usually with the "~" symbol Other times you need to add some paramater in the game shortcut to enable the console this can a bit be different porcess from game to game

i don't know if that is what you looking for

EDIT I read your post you want to disable some option.Have looked if the the game folder if there are some *.INI files or *.CFG you could edit with a text editor something the conf files and and maybe that could disable that option you want

Also if you updated the game or something sometimes this couldchanges the process too you should also look for help at the sierra forums

Thanks acal, but that's not quite what I'm looking for.
I just want the game to start at the start menu. EEII had this option from a command line, something like "target: c:\program files\empire earth\ee2.exe /novid" or similar...
I can't remember what they were, and of course I've rebuilt my system like 12,583 times since then!! :(

Anyway...I've found that Esc gets me there as quickly as possible, so I guess that'll work!!
