* The Witcher v1.1/v1.1a [RUSSIAN] Fixed EXE
 

First off just want to thanks Gamecopy for the crack!
but i seem to be having problem with this file.


I've download the update for the patch for "the witcher" and the problem is this crack patch is suppose to support 1.1a yer?

because after installing the 1.1a patch for the witcher from the website, and copy and replace the witcher.exe file the version is still 1.1 and now 1.1a.

I was wondering whether you can help me out or even release just a 1.1a version of the NO-DVD/NO-CD crack will help TREMENDOUSLY!

Hey there, i've got another problem with the 1.1a Patch.

Im usin win2k on my computer and - of course - cant play the witcher on it. The 1.0 crack which is also on GCW fixes that problem, though. But then ive got the problem with the initial dialogue, i cant get past it. So my question is:

Can you fix the 1.1a Patch for the Witcher so it works for win2k OR
can you upload a Savegame from the beginning of the game, after the first dialogue, so i can play too ;)

The problem with the initial dialogue may appear when the one use .exe 1.0 and the game already have been patched to v.1.1/1.1a.
If this happens with the version 1.1 of the .exe:
1) delete the file "player.ini" that is located in the folder where the game executable resides or delete (remark) from it string "Disable AutoSave=1";
2) try to patch the game to version 1.1.a;
3) you can always try to use your original DVD.

The funny thing is, i cant apply the 1.1 crack for the game, becuz when i do, the good ol' "SynFromAddr" win2k error pops up. When i use the 1.0 crack, i can start the game, but then ive got the problem with the initial dialogue. Think the 1.1 crack is broken for win2k, why ever.

Win2k isn't a supported OS for the game so no wonder the patches/cracks have problems.

We don't 'fix' or 'make' cracks here we just make available whatever files people send to us!

The crack is for 1.1 only! No matter what the "releaser" says, it is 1.1 and not 1.1a! The bug from 1.1 that is fixed in 1.1a is still there when you are using this crack...
Just use the Image or your original to play...

Its the exported API from the module called "dbghelp.dll" so you must update it either in the "system32" or in the "gamedir\system".

Win2k isn't a supported OS? Whoooh...
Maybe the game doesn`t know this fact because the cracked version runs perfectly on my w2k. :)

The last one.
Cracked "Witcher.exe" is from the 1.1 patch but do you really think that all the patches are changing\fixing is the main executable ?
And what about the buggy scripts, missed resources, unstable .dlls and other game stuff ?

You seem to think you know a lot, but then you let me down at the end.

If files like game archives, data files etc have been changed, then a new executable would be needed to see these changes.

I have seen some reports elsewhere that the Russian crack works fine for the English version... but why do you not try it yourself ?

@shady1986 and madmullar: Try the patch first, you'd then know the answer and avoid posting un-necessary questions!

everytime i try to install the patch i get this message after the language selection ("the witcher is not installed properly cannot patch"), any ideas

Is the patch for your version of the game? Did you check before patching?

Reinstall the game and see if the patch works then!

i reinstalled the game and still cant install the patch, how do u mean i should make sure that the patch is the right one?? my version is 1.0

Some patches only install on a specific language or region of the game!

So for example, patching an English copy of the game with a patch made for a German copy of the game won't work!

What language is your game and where did you get it from!

its english talking as far as i know, but wat u mean by where did u get it from?? i mean im sure i did get it from kuwait(my place)
