Crysis mini-image, anybody got it working?

Using dt-pro.
Image at GCW.

If I mount it on SCSI virtual disk, and use YASU to cloak it, emulation software is detected.

If I mount it on IDE virtual disk, YASU doesn't work at all. And game also detects emulation software.

Any help?

P.S.
Original works fine.

You have to use DT 4.06 (+YASU) for that SecuROM version. Looks like they forgot to blacklist that version in current titles :D

P.S. You don't have to uninstall DT Pro to use DT 4.06

Still doesn't work for me.

Does anyone have it working ? and if so could you please provide detailed instructions??

So far I have:
DT4.06
YASU 1.3
and followed the instructions given as per gamecopyworld and nfo.

Always get the please insert dvd message.

I have also tried disabling the physical dvd drive and running all combinations of the above. Tried in WinXP and Vista 32bit. Also is it correct that YASU 1.3 when it clocks the DT drive you can still 'see' the drive in windows explorer ?

One strange thing i've noticed when the miniimage is mounted it isn't really correctly displayed in windows explorer (ie. you can't click on it and no name is given like Crysis) - unlike the bf2 mini image for example. Does this sound right???

PS: and yes it works with the orginal dvd but I hate putting the dvd in the drive each time to play.

Dunno if it helps but try YASU 1.4 instead; see http://yasu.copybase.org for the homepage.

Yep, it is.
Many mini-images have just essenials necessary to trick protection.

The "emulation software detected" message is clear sign that image works, otherwise it would just say that wrong DVD is instered or something.

erm not quite... it doesnt indicate shit, you can't conclude that because you get that 'emulation software detected' message your disk is ok, because not all the checks have been performed...

aussieburger 22-11-2007 06:09

hmmm well i'm definately doing something wrong ... I just get the no dvd in drive message ... do we have to hide the phyiscal dvd drive as well?

You have to disable all alcohol and dt pro drives and emulation and exit dt pro too. Only dt 4.06 and yasu should be running.

aussieburger 22-11-2007 10:44

ok got it working with Daemon tools 4.06 and yasu 1.3 and SPTD 1.52
then restarted pc and it worked :)

That doesn't bother Securom check ;)

aussieburger 23-11-2007 02:46

yeah I only had dt4.06 running nothing else ... does anyone know why I actually needed this SPTD to make it work ?? This is some sort of driver that DT uses ?

Great that it's working :D

P22 23-11-2007 03:10

Yes, that is driver for the virtual drive.
Dt4.06 already includes this, but older version.

Of course it does. It won't work with dt pro emulation and drives activated!
