for all those people e-mailing me about how to read CDRW on the dreamcast here is the value of the r
 

ok i re adjusted the port and measured it exactly with the multi meter,
you locate teh potentiometer and turn it clockwise approx. 1/4 turn and then the resistance seen by the m meter should be roughly 531-533[ohms],
if you don't know how to get to it please don't e-mail with that i assume you guys wanting this have some electrical hardware knowledge and know how to use a multimeter and measure the resistance across two nodes,
if you need to know how to open it and locate it do a search on the web for it i am sure someone has done a picture step by step on how to take the dc apart and teh gdrom laser units assembly

by the way i forgot to say if you screw your dreamcast don't blame me
if it doesn't work don't ask why
i only use cdrw and cdr of type verbatim (only and always)

i don't mean to be rude but it's hard to troubleshoot over the web if you know what i mean, and i don't mind your e-mails i like to help but don't get pissed if it doesn't work
i don't post anything i haven't verified myself
