I am having trouble with the CD/DVD emulation error at the beginning of the game. I have disabled everything I think is causing it. I have AnyDVD, Nero, and PowerDVD. Could any of those be causing the problem? I could just use some insight into this problem.

P.S. I am running Vista, which this game claims to run on, I believe it will when I beat this problem. thank you!

Do you have Alcohol120%, DaemonTools or VirtualCD installed to your system?

b&w2 was safedisc wasn't it? and old too, so new vers of dt/alc should be 'immune' to it... odd

AnyDVD does cause older SD's to pop up emulation detected messages unfortunately.
