Plz help...:(

You don't need Daemon Tools to play this game.

Out of curiosity, why do you have xp x64?

Slipshock 02-11-2007 21:28

If i don t need daemon tool...
How can i play to this game ?
PS: xp64 for soft 3D :D

tbaher 02-11-2007 21:32

Insert disk, install the game, play.

Where did you get the game?

About x64: I have a separate PC for gaming so I don't have to deal with that.

What is soft 3d?

Soft 3D can be maya, 3d studio max, etc.
he uses XP 64 to get more power for calculations and rendering.

just to recap...

dtpro advanced has the ide adaptor, apparently you can use it in the witcher to mount image etc, and get past the protection... scsi adaptor (normal dt virtual drive) apparently does work...

dt pro advanced is the version you have to pay for... so if you haven't paid/registered on the dt / disc-soft site for it you simply dont have it...

64 bit os does not really give you more power in 32 bit applications, only applications coded in 64 bit benefit from it...

there is also currently no crack available for this game...

Probably x64 supporting 4GB+ of memory is the reason if he's using 3D apps?

Slipshock 03-11-2007 08:08

I make this thread if somebody can help me not for talk soft 3D:rolleyes:

DABhand 03-11-2007 10:37

Well Slip you have been asked, do you have an original disc?

Or is it a copy you are using and thats why you need DT Advanced?

nando2002 03-11-2007 11:05

Is this game worth to buy, I mean, those who have it, what looks like?

you can't create a vIDE drive in winXP x64
currently there's no way to play the witcher on xp 64 except putting the disc in.

BarryB 03-11-2007 13:16

Slipshock, currently vIDE is only supported in Vista 64bit, so either upgrade to Vista64 or do as targetlocked says and use your original DVD!
