MotoGP 07 v1.1 NoCD problem
 

Salut fellas ....

The THQ released a new pacht for motogp 07 http://forum.thq.de/viewtopic.php?t=12812 fixing more than 1000 problems .... now the game re much better ....but the game dont work right using the old non-cd file ...we need a new one specific to the version 1.1

Joe unlocked this thread (thanks Joe) as I found out the Czech v1.1 patch for MotoGP '07 is not protected!

This works on the English v1.1 patch, not sure about German!

First grab the Czech v1.1 patch from patches scrolls:
Extract the patch with WinRAR or 7-Zip and rename the 'elf.23' file to 'motogp.exe', apply the v1.1 patch for your game then replace the 'motogp.exe' with the one you just renamed!

You should now be able to play without the DVD!!

It works with Eu patch too :D.

Download Eu patch and install it.Then rename the 'elf.23' file to 'motogp.exe' from czech patch und place it in the Moto GP 2007 folder and play :).

Works great :D

dude can u explain it better ? cause i installed the euro pach 1.1 and i cant found this file on my folder ...can u take pics?

i reneamed the file ... then i sent the pacht install everything .... but the game install not working right . I used the europe pacht ..cause the 1 from cze only have the exe file ... so its impossible found the elf.23 only on the europe pach cause when we unzip we can see the extra folde with self.23 inside

Well I manage to do-it right and am playing with it.
Perhaps an upload toGCW so other can do it wouldn't be bad.

meanwhile:
1.- run the Czech patch and click "Yes" (the installer begins to extract the content) - it's a 7Zip file (if you have 7-zip installed head to solution 2).
2.- Open Explorer and head to you temp folder, to do that easily:
2.1.- click: Start menu
2.2.- select: Run
2.3.- type: explorer %temp%
2.4.- click: Ok
3.- In the middle of the garbage, try to found a folder something that looks like "7zS1D.tmp" or have the today date & time and open it.
4.- You will find inside the elf.23 file. rename it and move it to the motogp folder
5.- close the explorer window and cancel (click on Storno) the Czech install.

Solution 2:
Extract the Czech patch using 7-Zip to a temp folder (whatever name will serve)
open the folder and look for the "elf.23" file
rename it and save it into the motogp folder.

Now you can play without the CD.

It's easier to extract the Czech patch with WinRAR!!

You could install the Czech patch, then save the motogp.exe it installs, then install the EU patch and copy back the motogp.exe!

Anyway, to save you all the trouble I made a new EU (English, French, Italian, German and Spanish) patch with the Czech EXE in it. It's identical to the official patch as I made it with 7-zip and it's SFX maker:

Just install this and you've got a patched and unprotected game!

looks guys.... we have something wrong here :

the cze pacht here worked fine ...not i can play it without cd using the original exe .

but ...everything re in cze lenguage ..i cant understand anything .
what could be great is make the version in english work .

yes if i overighte the exe with the version 1.0 nocd my game will work ...but if u try play in multiplayer u wil found only 1.0 servers ..not the new one with version 1.1

noheavy... read again what BarryB said. it's very clear. or download the file from the address given and install.

I don't ever play multiplayer, period!

Just try the patch I made in post #7 on a fresh install of the game!

lol 'cracked securom 7' they say... think they just heard from the czech version being unprotected ;P

Shows they troll forums like this for their 'l337' cracks :rolleyes:

I didn't want to create a new topic for my problem, so I hope there's no problem of posting in this one.

The thing is, I'm unable to play the game because when I double-click on the exe to run the game, it enters to the first page (disclaimer and so on) but right after it blows up and jumps to the desktop with this message:

I've downloaded the last drivers from ATI for my VGA (X1900XT), but even though the error remains.

Finally, I tried to follow the steps of how to patch and crack, but happens the same thing.

Could anyone help me with this sh1t problem ?

You may want to update some other drivers, too. Read the forum FAQ.

What do you mean with "some other drivers" ? Could you be more specific please.

I've heard that other people have the same problem, and the problem is related with the machine.. but that's stupid.
Maybe the game was made for nVidia and not for ATI.

A friend of mine installed the game, copied the crack and played right after without any problems.
He has a 7800GT.

My machine is:
Intel C2D 6400
2x1GB DDR2 DC
ATI X1900XT 512MB
