Can BioShock no-dvd images only be used with Daemon Tools ?
 

First of all, I am a complete noob, so I hope my question is not a dumb one.
I downloaded the BioShock bended no-dvd image and it works perfectly in Daemon Tools (in another thread I was already reassured that there is nothing wrong with the image, although Spyware Doctor reported some malware. I uninstalled Spyware Doctor meanwhile).
However I am not so happy with Daemon Tools because of the adware in it.
I tried Alcohol 120% instead, but the image doesn't work then.
Is Daemon Tools the only utility that can be used or do I have to change some settings in Alcohol 120% ?

bit strange that, considering alcohol and daemon tools use the same technology (shared team)

What version of Alcohol?

It's 1.9.5.4212.

I have it working meanwhile !

How did you solve it, after all?

Updating Alcohol to the latest version did the trick.
