Splinter Cell, can't load previously saved games.

I'm running an original Splinter Cell with gimpsRus/grusccd fixed .exe and Core.dll (http://dl.gamecopyworld.com/?f=grusccd!rar) which seems to work fine. I then used PIZZADOX config.ini (http://dl.gamecopyworld.com/?f=pztcscuc!rar) to unlock all levels which also works fine *except* I cannot see (and therefore not load) any games I save while playing. The saves *are* in the save folder and does show up if I revert to the original config.ini - but still will not load, probably because the levels then are not unlocked... :confused:
A bit of a stalemate - any suggestions much appreciated. TIA

Isn't there a version incompatibility problem: the config.ini is for version X of the game and your game and the savegames are version Y? Read the docs included with the level unlocker package.

Hi Joe, thanks for the suggestion.
The game is v 1.00.000 (found using Control Panel \ Add or Remove Programs - I have not found version stated anywhere else?) and there is no mention of any version compatibility in the pizzadox.nfo file.... ?
