Civilization IV: Warlords patch 2.13
 

I'd like to have a fixed .exe for this game. I know there's one for Beyond the Sword that deals with this new patch. But, I don't have Beyond the Sword and I don't suspect I will for a month or two. So, in order to be compatable with on-line play I needed to install the latest patch (2.13)

Ok ive not seen a 2.13 patch anywhere even on 2k's site. So it must be new, therefore rule 6 applies of the forum rules.

Also cracks dont guarentee you to play online, so you are better off using a mini/maxi image of your original game.

2.13 is only available, right now, through an in-game download. Once Beyond the Sword is released, the patch (which patches vanilla Civ IV and Warlords automatically) will be available as a seperate download from the site.

The "on-line"" play I refered to is PBEM's (Play by Emails) and PitBoss games, which are played on individual servers(PC's that people have set up to run a game)

So, I can't play any of those games in which the PBEM or PitBoss server is running the latest patch with installing said patch myself.

I can play right now with the patch as long as I have the CD inserted. And that's ok, for now. I'd just like to be able to put the CD away, in a safe place. I accidently broke my Civ III Conquests CD. :(

Also, the 2.08 crack for Warlords did allow for on-line play.

Either way forum rule 6 applies.

You cannot ask for a crack for a recently released game or patch until a fairly decent time frame has elapsed.

Let me explain my reasoning for asking for it now.

The crack for vanilla Civ IV for this exact patch was posted yesterday. The one for Warlords was not. Why...I don't know. But, whomever made it might not have known that Warlords was affected as well since the game doesn't make it known that you can't play Warlords with a Beyond the Sword CD but you can play vanilla Civ IV with it.

Those that do get BtS soon won't have to have the Warlords CD or even ask for a crack because one is already posted for it. Just not for Warlords by itself. I don't foresee a big demand for it either so I thoguht I'd ask so that it may be known that there's a small group of people that would be affected and would like to have the crack for Warlords 2.13, specifically.

But, like I said, I'm not hurting for the crack. I can play just fine now.
This forum seems hardly cluttered by requests. On the first page there are posts 3-4 days old.

There is always an option of using mini-image.

That is because we changed the rules about the time to wait before requesting cracks.
Before we changed this time rule we used to be swamped with crack requests. ;)
