Final Fantasy Anthologies Patch
I am trying to get a backup of my final fantasy anthologies because I am collecting the whole set and don't want my original to get damaged. I am a newbie to this, that is why i am trying this game first. I thought a simple game would be simple to do. I have a problem with my PS2 running it. I have been told I should just need a patch of some sorts, but everytime i try to use the patch on this site, it keeps saying that it can't tell if it is final fantasy anthologies 5 or not. I need help. Does anyone know what I need to do?

Which chip are you running in your PS2?
|
Ok, I must be more of a newb than i thought, cause i wouldn't have a clue. Mind telling me how i could find that out first?
|
Err... you have had a modchip installed into your PS2, right?
|
I bought my PS2 off of my neighbor. He is a computer programer. I am sure he did all the stuff to it that he could. If you could tell me what i need to check to see about the mod chip, i would love to know, cause i, myself, have no clue. All i have ever done with a PS2 was take them apart and clean them, which, by the way, I haven't done with this one yet.

Best thing to do then is to ask your neighbour whether he had it chipped or not...
Other than that, take the PS2 apart and see whether anything is soldered to the motherboard. If it is, take a picture and upload it. From there we can tell you what chip it is. If all you find is a bare motherboard, then it isn't chipped and you're SOL until you have it done... |
