Armed Assault CD Backup
 

Hi,
Am wondering if someone can help me please.
My Armed Assault Has been cracked, I have a backup and was able to install it off the backup CD,
But then i try an play it from the CD It says i need to Enter the orginal or Correct disk when i try and run the game.

I had a little look at your fixes, and when i try these i get the following error.
( i tryed the Fix 5) & 4
ArmA
Error Compiling Vertex Shader VSTerrain,

I had googled the error but no one seems to of posted a Fix,

Is this due to the Fix? The demo works fine on my machine,
Can i Make the game play off my Backup disk?
Can i make an Image file from my Backup disk to Mount on Deamond or Alcohol?

**** This is already Patched with the 1,5 *****

the demo works? whats that got to do with it...
does the original exe work, with the original disk present? (thats a vital question)

Because the issue sounded like a Graphic problem,
But its not as Demo playing is no problem
The original EXE works yes, but when i try it asks for the Originla CD?
So am Stuffed

If I understand it correctly, your original CD has been damaged. In that case, you should contact the publisher for a replacement (and read the forum rules).

Yes I too take the above quote as meaning your disc is damaged.

If this is the case then yes you need to contact the publisher for a replacement disc.

And read the Forum Rules please.

Yes i read the rules,
This aint warez i have the orignal Disk, but its Cracked, and The publisher aint going to replace it,
Its like me buying a glass then braking it, and then asking for another one because i broke it,

I only asked a simple question not warez related, I just wanted to know if i can use my Backup disk?

so you actually contacted them?

most publishers do actually offer a replacment disk, if your original gets damaged (for whatever reason)........ i suggest you contact them and not presume things

Thats right, and some publishers will actually replace the damaged disc for 'free' if the game is less than 12 months old. You do have to supply proof of purchase or course and also send proof of your damaged disc. ;)
