Thats right i found a fix so here it is.

First i google a 3d hardware program called 3d-analyze v2.36b
i downloaded it and install it to a folder i named 3danly

Secondly i played around with the check box settings until i found a combonation of check box settings that work.
here they are: click the white box to enable option

1. force windowed mode
2. force max pixel shader
3. force high precision pixel shader
4. emulate HW tnl caps
5. emulate pixel shader caps
6. emulate bump map caps
7. emulate max sim textures
and
on anti detect mode choose:
shaders
and
Force 24bit buffer

The problem is that you don't have a video card that supports vertex shader 2.0 and pixel shader 2.0.
This should be and alternative to not have those.

my pc specs are as follows

Compaq presario 325 intel celeron d processor 756 mb pc 2700 ddr sdram memroy
756 mb pc 2700 ddr sdram memroy
2.53 ghz
ati 9200 se with omega drivers

Actually it only needs the one option ticked, and thats the fix for Biohazard which is on the list.

there is no biohazard4 fix in 3d-analyze 2.36b and thats the latest. so what exactly are talking about shammes.

this version has a date of 10.12.2004 how can bioharzard 4 be on there.

You sure you have the latest. Ill try and find what I used.

When I still used 3d analyze on my old geforce 4 mx card several games used to don't work wth 3d analyze 2.36 . Some worked better with 3d analyze 2.26 like POP SOT and Fable TLC. Some other of course needed the 2.36 version. But if there other way to run without that program it could be better.3d analyze tends to make game perfomance very bad and the textures tend to looks horrible due that is software emulation

Damnit I cant remember what I used now, but it was similar to 3d analyze but had a Biohazard 4 fix in the list.

grey fog, can't see a damned!
 

When I reach the first town all I can see is a grey/brownish fog and i can't play that way. Tried to use this program but all i get is a "error while injecting dll into target process" error message.

Please help me befor I cut my veins with the DVD!!!

Maybe it solves some of your problems.

The graphics are definitely better now!!!
There is no crack at the moment, but you can load the maxi image with DT4.08 and yasu.
(I didn't check if it works with the older cracked exe).

Do you think the new PC version could beat the PS2 or even the GC version??
The videos are still bad, but the ingame graphics look good!
I play at 1280x1024 with 6x AA and max. Adaptive AA.

I was having the same (or a similar) problem with Res Evil 4, so i got the 3d Analyze, but when i try to run the program through that --> it gives me an error :

"Conflict with Emulation Software detected.
Please have a look at http://www.securom.com/message.asp?m=emu&c=2500 for further, more detailed information."

How do i fix this? Thanks

I bought the game yesterday I also had the black screen the others mentioned But the patch the other guy mentioned fixed the problem No more need of the 3d analyze that if there some other way to fix it better use that instead of of 3d analyze that only makes graphics and perfomance slow and horrible I hated it when I still had my GF 4 mx and tried to run some games 99% of the time never worked I only got to work Fable and POP SOT nothing else worked on it + the developement got abandonned long ago since 2004 making and old program no updated

And about the the Securom blacklisting I had that too the no cd from Farlight GCW fix completely the problem (I guess is the one DAB uploaded)

And about the gameI still haven't advanced much but I 'm not very impressed about not even graphically or the game itself. There is something in the old interface series that liked me more I agree with ones that said that the old ones were more atmospheric. Penumbra Overture ,FEAR seems more scary than this one
