Help! Burning .CDIs/.Cues. Wont boot.
 

Ok, I've got several backup images on an old harddrive of mine from years ago and i'm going to reburn them....but nothing works.

Back in the day i'd just throw it into DJ 2 and burn no problem.

I have a PC and a MacBook Pro so burning on either would be ideal. Heres what i'm doing now.

Mac - Using Toast 8 Titanium, .Cue or .ISO (converted from .CDI), 8x burn speed, DAO, Finalize Session.......only works with some games. (about 10 coasters to every 1 game.)

PC - i've used DJ 3.5 & 4.something (newest one) and they dont work. I'm burning at 8X (4.x) and 1x(3.5 demo), DAO or RAW DAO, overburn on in mode 2.


Can someone tell me what i'm doing wrong. I've tried looking for a in depth tutorial to tell me EXACTLY what settings i want but i've had no luck.

DJ 2.x and 3.x are next to impossible to find online.... unless someone has it saved somewhere.

Also, i'm using the 1.1 and 1.2 boot disc with each game i burn, as well i'm trying to boot them without the disc (i cant remember which are SB or not)

I've already wasted most of a 50-spindle on coasters with only 4 workable discs to show for it.

ANY help at all would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT:: Just to clear things up, these images are from original Retail games i've bought over the years, both new and used. they've just seen better days and barely read anymore. I'd like to reburn them to fresh media for better performance.
