Battlefield 2142: Working fix for DVD v1.10?
 

So I have the original DVD version (installs perfectly). I then install the EA official update 1.10 (installs perfectly).

So I then proceed to apply the only seemingly available fix for v1.10 (The Force Team, released 2006-12-27), overwriting both included files (fixed exe + .tmp file). In attempting to then run the game, either with the DVD in the drive or not, I am greeted with the message:

"Please insert the correct CD-ROM".

I have also unsuccessfully tried using the fixed exe only, without the .tmp file.

So it would appear that the fix is made for the CD version only and not the DVD version.

Does anybody know if there is a fix for the DVD version v1.10? :confused:
