Flags Of our Fathers (US version)
 

Is anybody else having trouble backing up Flags of Our Fathers? I've tried both CloneDVD2 with Any DVD and DVD Decrypter (Latest versions) and they fail about 30% through. I'm thinking that this has some new type of copy protection or my disc is bad, it seems to play though fine though.

Try simply copying the files off the DVD, without AnyDVD or any other "on-the-fly" decrypter. Does that give you an error?

If your talking about simply copying and pasting the files from the original movie DVD to my computers harddrive, then NO I cannot.

I get an error stating this. Cannot read from the source file or disk.

Hmmm, now we have to find out whether this is an intentional error (part of the copy protection) or not (your disc is damaged)... :) If noone is around having this movie (hint: see the lack of replies by others!), I suggest you go to a rental, rent this movie and try copying the files off of it.

Can you see anything suspicious on the disc if you turn it against light?

i didnt have problem making a copy. i used anydvd 6.0.8.5 and clonedvd2 2.9.0.1 ...

try using dvd fab decrypter v 3070 and up to read the disc.

It was the DVD all along. Cleaned it and all several times and still no luck, then went to rent the same one just for test purposes and sure enough it worked:). Thanks everyone.
