weird, strange problem
 

Ok here's my problem, I backed up a few movies and there is a certain DVD player we have that is having some strange problems with the discs. When you enter the scene selection menu there is no visible cursor. I've tried different discs and different movies and there seems to be no change. I'm using AnyDVD and CloneDvd 2 latest versions. I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed this problem before. The disc play fine on some of my other dvd players. Thanks for the help in advance

With the same setup of softwares, rip the original DVD into an image. Mount the image into a virtual CD/DVD emulator and launch the emulated DVD in a software DVD player. Do you get the same problem? Also, make sure you have the absolutely very latest version of AnyDVD: this problem might be related to a trigger of some nasty custom copy protection!

i had something similar happen with the newer releases over the past year with InterVideo DVDCopy 3. dvd shrink works fine with the same movie, so i think it was a problem with the program. sounds like clonedvd2 is having problems convertig the menus properly.

Orion does say:
..........so I would say it is a problem with the specific player and not the actual copy/burn.
