Where to find a crack for Myst III v1.27 DVD
 

I just got the DVD version of Myst III.
And i can't find a crack for it.
Only for v1.2 & v1.22 :(
I have run the "ProtectionID v5.2b", but it can't find something :confused:
But it ask for the dvd when i will run it.
The game is version 1.27.

send all dll and exe files in the gamedir to async [at] bk.ru and I'll have try :)

If I fail Joe could have a try :D

I did make one, but it's a bit of a kludge, TippeX will laugh his socks off he dis-assembles it :)

It involves moving the DATA folder into the BIN folder along with the modified m3.exe. It works but it's a really lame NoDVD :)

I got it from the big "Myst The Collection".
It has all the 5 Myst game in one ;)

Will you upload it to GameCopyWorld ?

@barry: you could fix the path for checking files using ../ to change one dir up into the real data folder?

@chron: I played with this for a while and made a quick and dirty NoDVD just for myself, I never intended it for 'public' release, but it works and so I'm leaving it as is, someone more skillful can make a 'proper' :)

Conclusion: Cracks should be kept internal for a few weeks - with some testing help from other selected people who also have the game - so that it can be release in a polished form. ;)

Myst 3 DVD was the special edition released right? I played the normal one released on 4 cds. Very good game indeed
