I just love the posts which start of with 'sir'. :D

You can be a bit casual around here, no need for the 'sir', it is a nice touch but people will still try and help if they can, without being called sir. ;)

Now to your problem, you forgot to include those pics you mentioned.
What type of Grafix card is it?
Which drivers are you using?
Which version of DirectX do you have installed? The latest I presume?

And what makes you think it is DirectX which is causing the problem?

Describe your problem as if you were describing it to the official support of the game publisher. (Have you contacted them already?) Also, read the PC games forum FAQ for general solutions on general gaming problems!

my grafx card is geforce fx 5200 128mb

and abt the pics,,,,, i m not able 2 upload the pics here on the forum, as the size limits me 2 do so...

i think it would b enough.... and more info needed, do let me know...

Textual description of the problem (rather than pictures) and VERSION NUMBERS, please! (Do you know how error reports are supposed to look like? No, you don't. So read the PC games forum FAQ!)

Hmmm, I would say the GPU memory gets overheated. (I saw similar graphical problems on my poor old 3DFX Voodoo 2 many years ago... :()

angel-TDw! 16-11-2006 12:06

if gpu memory over heating is the prob,,then y doesnt get overheated in all the games..... and only some games get affected....

The games that do NOT cause these problems... are those older ones? if so, they don't stress the GPU that much as newer ones.

angel-TDw! 17-11-2006 10:21

games in which i m not suffering any probs are like,,,

unreal 2 - awakening, max payne 2, serious sam 2....

problem games,,,,

pop-sand of time, powerdrome, even old games like, simpsons - hit and run.

thanx

Then it's, perhaps, the amount of video memory the games access. I don't know... (Have you contact the manufacturer of your video card with the information - and pictures - you listed above?)

And the usual fooling around: put the video card into another PC, put another video card into your PC etc. etc. Improvize! :)
