on the gamecopyworld web page for stronghold legends it says to apply the official 1.1 patch. but i did a web search and cannot find a 1.1 patch anywhere. The official game web page doesnt even mention a patch yet. Where do I get the patch at?

I can't find any update too.
The game is very new.

Update v1.1 seems a selfmade update and unavailable. I don't found it.
Cracked EXE on GCW is useless without that patch.

went ahead and tried the 1.1 no disk exe from the web site and the game started up just fine with no update patch ran yet. havn't tried playing it yet to test for any crashes

According to the Firefly website -
Quote "2K and Firefly Studios are very proud to announce that Stronghold Legends has gone gold master and will be available in Europe on 13th October 2006 and North America on 23rd October 2006."

According to nforce, the nfo for the pirated copy states -
"1. Unrar.
2. Burn or mount with Daemon tools.
3. Install the game.
4. Install the Update 1.1 running patch.exe located in the Crack directory
on the DVD
5. Copy the cracked files located in the Crack directory on the DVD
to your installation directory.
6. Play the game."

mine said the same thing, but it had no crack directory when I unrar it

you aren't supposed to have warez,you'll probably get banned

He could have been quoting an nfo from a crack archive.

Most cracks have their warez nfo's included with just the crack.

umm, be very careful of that link being a "rapidshare" he coulda put anything in there. The "1.1" patch is the "1.10" patch which is easy to find.

as for what jrljj said, that's cuz he didn't mount the image and look :cool:

Anyways, as for why I came here and why I know what jrljj means is becuase I've tried every method I can think of to make my game work. The mini-image here http://dl.gamecopyworld.com/?d=2006&f=poseden-SHL!rar seems to be corrupted and won't launch the game. (Past mini-images i've been able to open in a file browser to view the "contents" but this mini-image gives a disk is corrupted error). The LEGAL imported game cd when installed asks to be patched and then any patching utility can't find my installed game. d/ling a copy of the cd, (which as far as I know is legal if you own an original of the disc), allows for patches. However it doesn't recognize my game disc or the d/led disc or the mini-image. The no-cd crack to me is useless being for the 1.10 version. (My game installs at 1.10 already and it doesn't have any cd protection).

Note: The imported game is from NeoGame if you want to look it up b4 ban for trying the warez fix.

@DKATyler: Downloading a pirated copy of a game whose legal copy you already own might be legal in your country but discussing it on this forum is not. Although it should be obvious from the forum rules that discussion of warez for any reason is not allowed here (for which you have been banned now), your particular case has been added explicitly a few days ago.

Alright, you banned me for a few weeks to send that message home so I'm back where I left off, trying to convince my russian game copy that it is version 1.11 instead of version 1.10. Any idea where I should be looking for the version number in the game? Already tried scanning the registry which is unfortunatly the only place I know to look for that :(.
