Here's my problem, how got the game onto my hard-drive ...
How should I just burn the files onto a DVD and hope it'll work?

Make a direct backup with dvd decrypter and burn onto a dvd-r.

Why must you always go the easy way?

How do I get the files onto a working DVD that WILL work.

Err... Why would you have a problem with the easy method? :rolleyes:

Seriously dude, if you have the disc in your posession (as you should if you're making a backup), just pop it in your DVD-ROM drive and fire up DVD Decrypter.

Why rip the files off to the HDD and mess about when all you have to do is hit the rip button, change discs, hit burn and away you go?

Against my better judgement of this situation, i'm gonna let this go for a little... but my finger's getting a little twitchy. ;)

umm, I think the real question everyone here is thinking is why you are going about this the hard way :rolleyes:.
