trying to put a trainers code in the game itself

G'day folks

I have the punisher and I found this really cool trainer for it that unlocks it and makes it much more gory and makes the executions fully detailed and not in black and white and when you kill someone its much more relistic like full blood effects and all. making the game from M rated to R rated. its originally based on an uncut version of the punisher that was made for the xbox. but the uncut version sure is hard to find and is prolly real expensive.

so i was wondering if theres a way to take the information out of the trainer so i can put it in the game and its always on. like bind the trainer into the game but only that 1 of the trainers options and not the whole 7 options the trainer has. its prolly just an exe modification all the data must be in game and the trainer just unlocks it.

i want this done so i dont have to be running a trainer in the background and have to press keys to make it work. and i can enjoy the punisher fully unlocked and the way its ment to be played.

is there a way to do this.

i'll give you my brand new cordless surround sound headphones if you can help me.

or maybe not but i'd muchly appreciate it.

Thank You
Alien Firefox

p.s there are some brilliant crackers and coders out there and i know that they can help me.

so please help me and the game is the UK version

That would be seen as payment for work done! Thats a big no no. ;)

Also the fact that most trainer makers would hate to see their coding thiefed for other purposes.

Just use the trainer/fix to play the game as you have been.

Why you want to inject the coding permanently into the game is beyond me, unless you have plans of selling it.

Alien Firefox 07-09-2006 08:29

plans of selling it common

and the headphones thing was a joke im sure people can handle that these days

theres 3 of these trainers out there

and the reason i want it in the game is so that i can play the game with this option on because sometimes thetrainer doesnt kick in and causes problems so i was thinking if i put the trainers code into the game permanently and made it into a type of patch then when i format or something i just reapply the patch and then i dont have issues with the trainer not kicking in and all.

i dont intent to sell it and i found that insulting i own the game so im entitled to mod it for my own personal use.

Grumpy 07-09-2006 09:11

Yes I know you meant the headphones comment as a joke, i was simply saying it is a no no. ;)
And I really dont think Dab meant you 'personally' are going to sell it. :)

And you dont actually own the game, you own the license to install it onto your system, their is a difference. Read the EULA for more details.

And hey I dont agree with the 'you dont own the game' part but thats just how it is. ;)

Well, I wanted to add a comment like this, too... Unless the laws in your country give you the right, you're usually NOT entitled to reverse-engineer, modify etc. etc. the game (most EULA's explicitly state this!), only use (play) it. No, neither do I agree with this... But in a few decades, freedom will prevail! :D

what im asking for is not no mor eillegal them a fixed exe

which is what this site is all about

so stop being all goodie doodie and help me

DABhand 07-09-2006 11:46

Like I said, most trainers are protected from code thiefs, and likewise I would hate my coding for my trainers to be used otherwise.

Nobody is also at liberty to help you, and especially telling 2 mods to help you is a big no no.

As for me, as a trainer maker im saying no on telling you how to thief coding, its against my nature as a trainer maker.

Alien Firefox 07-09-2006 12:59

riiight

then maybe you can make me something else that'll work the same.

if i could code i'd do it myself but i cant so im asking for help.

DABhand 08-09-2006 08:17

Do you know ASM?

You know what MOVSS means?

DABhand 15-09-2006 06:03

I guess not then huh.

TippeX 15-09-2006 07:02

well thats SSE extension not 'basic' x86 asm ... and i cant really see the purpose of doing that in a trainer.. well unless the score or something was a huge number, or you're transferrring large chunks of data of a predefined and aligned size.. hope u do a cpuid check before using it too

/me puts on his pedantic hat :)
